Our story began when four friends decided that life was more than just corporate jobs and negative marijuana stigma. That's why our dispensary is locally owned and always evolving. The work we do here at 420@505 has created a positive change in our community of Las Cruces. Marijuana, also referred to as “pot” or “cannabis” , has a rich history of human use likely dating back to Asia around 500 B.C. The history of cannabis cultivation in America dates back to the early colonists, who grew hemp for textiles and rope. Unfortunately political and racial factors in the 20th century have led to the criminalization of marijuana in the United States, though its legal status is changing in many places. It has always been our mission to educate our guests on the positive effects of marijuana and hemp, as we are always learning and evolving within ourselves as well.
